The Michigan Stormwater-Floodplain Association is the Michigan Chapter of the Association of State Floodplain Managers

MSFA began in 1987 to promote the common interest in floodplain and stormwater management, enhance cooperation among various local, state and federal governmental agencies, and to encourage effective and innovative approaches to managing Michigan’s floodplain and stormwater management systems.

30th Annual MSFA Conference

The 2017 Michigan conference will be held March 1 through March 3, 2017, with Pre-conference functions held on February 28, 2017 at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Lansing.  Some of the conference highlights include:  Agency Updates, Flood Frequency Calculation Update, Grand River History, Case studies related to storm water & floodplain management, CFM Exam, Construction Site Stormwater Training, and a Building Code Workshop.
